Intellij jar file ant build3/28/2024 However, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong altogether. I don't have access to the pom.xml files from this machine, but they're minimally generated. I'm wondering if it's because the downloaded sources of A aren't matching with the expected source code directory (src/main/java). It seems like even though I can build A, the generated JAR isn't being imported by B (since I have "Cannot find symbol" errors). IntelliJ doesn't seem to build it correctly either. However, I can't build them at the same time (even though Maven Reactor build does them in the correct order of A, B, root). When I build A and then B (which calls classes from A) outside of IntelliJ, it seems to work. The other project, B, lists A as a dependency. So far, I'm able to build and install A by downloading an archive with download-maven-plugin, build it with maven-antrun-plugin, and install the JAR file with maven-install-plugin. The root and submodules have the quickstart archetype with minimal plugins. m2 cache after I build it) I need to build it from source in the pom.xml.Ĭurrently, I'm trying to solve this by making a multi-module Maven project. Since I can't pull it from any Maven repository (except hopefully from my local. I have a non-local Ant project without a Maven build at a given URL that I need to make a dependency in my Maven project.
